Dr. Tao got her Ph.D. degree from Faculty of Education, the University of Hong Kong in 2019 and is working as a postdoctoral research fellow at Faculty of Education, East China Normal University.
Research Interests and Experiences
Dr. Tao’s research currently focuses on educational governance, school improvement and turnaround, and educational policy and reform in China. Her Ph.D. research topic is “Network Governance in Education: A Case Study of Shanghai, China”, which explores the complexity of the interactions between multiple actors during the process of network governance in education, using school turnaround as a research window.
