Founded in 1982, Institute of Higher Education (IHE) of ECNU is one of the first few officially-authorized units in China to provide master and doctoral programs in higher education, as well as one of the leading research institutes of higher education throughout the country. With a team of about 20 faculty members (all holding Ph.D. from world-renowned universities), 30 doctoral students and 80 master students, IHE is committed to cultivating innovative scholars, leaders and entrepreneurs, advancing quality academic research and providing services and resources for universities, local and central government and the world. IHE is widely recognized in diverse fields, such as faculty development and academic system, graduate follow-up survey & undergraduate education, postgraduate education, institutional research, higher education policies, etc. IHE has built close international cooperation and exchange with first-class universities.
