School of Open Learning and Education

开放教育学院是一所集教学、科研和管理于一体的实体型学院。秉承”激情、责任、合作、开放、和谐”的理念，学院确定了”有科研引领，有技术支撑，有质量保障，有社会影响，有文化自信”的发展目标。作为学校服务社会的一个重要平台，开放教育学院集学校成人学历教育、教师培训、国际合作教育、社会培训为一体。学院框架内设有华东师范大学教师专业发展中心、远程教育研究中心等科研机构；学院学术委员会、学院发展咨询委员会、学院老教授协会等咨询机构；教育部 “全国中小学教师信息技术应用能力提升工程执行办”秘书处设在我院。2016年11月，中国教育学会教师培训者联盟成立，联盟秘书处设在开放教育学院，负责联盟的日常管理工作。

School of Open Learning and Education is a solid school which engages in instruction, research and management. On the basis of the core cultural philosophy “passionate, responsible, collaborative, open, coordinative”, a target has been built: leading with scientific research, support with technology, guarantee with quality, social influential and cultural confidence. As an important platform for ECNU to provide social services, School of Open Learning and Education offers adult diploma education, teacher training, international cooperation education, social training and examinations. Within the framework of ECNU-SOLE, there are several research centers, including ECNU Professional Development Center for Teachers, Distance Education Research Center, and several consulting institutions, including SOLE academic committee, SOLE development consulting committee, SOLE retire professors committee. In June, 2013, the Ministry of Education founded “executive office for the national project of improving K-12 teachers’ ICT Application Competencies”, and School of Open Learning and Education was commissioned as the project secretariat in charge of the project’s management, organization and coordination. In November, 2016, Chinse Teacher’s Trainer Federation, organized and led by the Chinese Society of Education, was founded, which is committed to creating and providing learning and communication platform for teacher trainers to explore the systemized solutions of teacher training and professional development path of teacher trainers jointly. School of Open Learning and Education was commissioned as the secretariat in charge of the organization and administration of Teacher’s Trainer Federation.

2014年10月，学校成立教育学部，开放教育学院归属教育学部。

In October, 2014, Faculty of Education was founded, and SOLE was merged into the new founded Faculty of Education.

2015年6月，学校成立上海教师发展学院，与开放教育学院合署办公。作为教育部、上海市和华东师范大学共建的教师教育平台，上海教师发展学院将立足服务教师，使学院成为国家教师教育的”新型智库”、成为国际国内教师教育交流的”高端平台”、成为”未来教育家的摇篮”，全方位实现教师”四年职前教育”和”四十年职后教育”的对接，促进每位教师的专业发展，以教师终身学习带动全民终身学习，更好地服务国家战略和上海发展。

In June, 2015, ECNU and SOLE founded Faculty of Shanghai Teachers’ Professional Development. As a teachers’ training school jointly founded by Ministry of Education, Shanghai Municipal Government and ECNU, Faculty of Shanghai Teachers’ Professional Development on a basis of serving teachers, aims to become a new source for nationwide teachers’ training, a high-end platform for communication between teachers from home and abroad, and a cradle for future educators. The Faculty of Shanghai Teachers’ Professional Development will smoothly connect four years of pre-vocational education to forty years of education afterwards for teachers in a comprehensive way. The Faculty of Shanghai Teachers’ Professional Development will promote teachers’ professional development, national lifelong learning led by teachers, which will better serve the strategy of our nation and the development of Shanghai.
