On the afternoon of 29th, March, 2017, the Faculty of Education invited Professor Henning Sailing Olsen, the influential education research expert comes from Huaman and Technology Institution of Roskilde University in Denmark and have served as the principal of Roskilde University and the president of European Adult Education Council, to give a lecture.
Professor Henning Sailing Olsen started with the striving case of women from remote regions and revealed the construction of subjectivity of individuals in the development of history and society. Then he pointed out that the historical construction of individual subjectivity is a kind of learning, based on which he explained the origin and connotation of the research method of life history in adult education. Teachers and students actively asked about the research method of life history, and Professor Henning Sailing Olsen answered respectively with patience.
When the lecture finished, Professor Jian Huang drew a conclusion and encouraged interested students to pay attention to the lifelong learning and the research method and endeavor to create more research works. She also introduced Human and Technology Institution in detail and motivated students to go abroad for further communication.
