On April 19, 2018, a delegation from the Western Norway University of Applied Sciences, with a total of ten members, visited the Faculty of Education.
The delegation was represented by Principal Berit Rokne, Vice President Gro Anita Fonnes Flaten, Vice President of the Institute of Education Sigurd Sandvold, Director of the International Office Elin Kvaale and several professors whom specialized in pre-school and public education.
This visit aimed to strengthen the cooperation between the two sides in Pre-school education field. Professor Huang Jin, deputy dean of the Faculty of Education, warmly welcomed the delegation and introduced the basic information of the Faculty of Education, ECNU, such as the departments, and different international cooperation projects. Representatives from the Western Norway University of Applied Sciences introduced the overall condition of their university, especially the Kindergarten Knowledge Centre for Systemic Research on Diversity and Sustainable Futures. Besides this, they extended their best wishes for further cooperation in preschool education.
