Prof. Richard Andrews from University of East Anglia, UK Visits Faculty of Education, ECNU

On November 30th, 2018, Prof. Richard Andrews, Dean of School of Education and Lifelong Learning of University of East Anglia (UEA), visited the Faculty of Education, ECNU, in order to further promote exchange programs and collaborations in education disciplines of the two universities. Prof. Andrews exchanged ideas with Prof. Yang Fuyi (Director of the International Affairs Division) and Qiu Yue (Officer of the International Affairs Division).

On behalf of the Faculty of Education, Prof. Yang Fuyi welcomed Dean Richard Andrews and introduced the related majors of the two universities, including education science, preschool education, higher education, comparative education, etc., and introduced the existing International cooperation mode.

Dean Richard Andrews introduced UEA’s newly established Digital Literacy Research Hub and doctoral programs in educational psychology, and expressed collaboration intention with ECNU in these fields. At the meeting, the both sides discussed the cooperation modes in detail, including the exchange visits of professors and Ph.D students post-doctoral recruitment, the possibility of launching a dual master’s degree program, and reached preliminary intentions of further collaboration.
