Introduction |
Wang Xiaoqin is a professor in the School of Teacher Education. His research focuses on history & pedagogy of mathematics. He has published a few books including An Introduction to the History & Pedagogy of Mathematics, and An Introduction to Mathematical Culture. He has published a series of academic papers including “A categorization model for educational values of the history of mathematics: an empirical study,” “Primary mathematics teaching from the perspective of HPM,” “Application of geometry in Mathematics textbooks in the early 20th century,” “The addition formulas in the textbooks on trigonometry up to the middle of the 20th century,” “The AM-GM inequality: from history to the classroom” and so on.
