Delegation of Teacher Education School Was Invited to Attend Academic Meetings and Communicate by Phranakhon Rajabhat University

During March 14 to 19, a delegation from the Teacher Education School, ECNU was invited by Phranakhon Rajabhat University to attend academic meetings and communicate with their counterparts. Phranakhon Rajabhat University, founded in 1892, is the oldest normal university in Thailand set up by the King. The staff and students from its graduate school extended a warm welcome to the delegation. They attended the 8th I-SEEC (International Science, Social Sciences, Engineering and Energy Conference) and carried out communication activities after the conference with the students and teachers from Phranakhon Rajabhat University.

Associate Professor Gao Huirong was invited as a spokesman of the conference. She and her five graduate students respectively reported their papers on topics of teacher education and English teaching, and received high praise and heated discussion from attendees all around the world.

After the conference, the delegation visited the Graduate School of Phranakhon Rajabhat University. Dean Sathaporn Pokpong and Assistant Dean Kittiwan Sinthunava received the members warmly. The two sides introduced the history and current status of their own schools and discussed the opportunity for further exchanges and collaboration in the future.

This visit has greatly broadened the international horizons of the delegation members and helped them develop a deeper knowledge of educational situations of different countries and regions. Meanwhile, it has also promoted the cooperation and academic communication between the two universities.
