On March 1st, the workshop for the construction of JoRISS education platform was held in the Liberal Arts Building of East China Normal University. Professor Luc Trouche, coordinator of the cooperation project from IFÉ, Yang Fuyi, director of the International Affairs Division, Bai Yun, director of Instruction Affairs Division and some other staff and doctoral students attended the conference.
This workshop was intended to discuss how to realize the academic joint research project in the next steps. Professor Luc Trouche briefly introduced the progress of the platform made in the past 2 years under the framework of the JoRISS project and outlined the possible challenges that may be faced in the future, while also addressing the four educational research issues agreed by both sides. The two sides exchanged their opinions and reached preliminary consensus about the communication form and timing of tutors. Professor Luc Trouche later met with the students under the project so as to know what problems they faced in daily life and offered informative guidance.
The visit of Professor Luc Trouche established a firm foundation for the successful realization of JoRISS research platform, and rendered a more extensive and deeper collaboration between the two sides in the cultivation of talent and academic researches.
