On June 24th, 2019, a delegation from Universitat de Barcelona, Spain, visited Faculty of Education, including Prof. Miquel Robert (Associate Dean of Faculty of Education, University of Barcelona, Spain), Dra. Àngels Pelegrín Solé (Asia Affairs Commissioner of the Office of Vice President of International Affairs, Former Director of Confucius Institute in Barcelona), Wang Jue (Head of China Affairs of the Office of Vice President of International Affairs),et al.
Yang Fuyi (Associate Dean of Faculty of Education), Zhao Qi (Director of the Instruction Affairs Division), Qiu Yue (Director of the International Affairs Division) and Cao Xiaoying (Officer from International Exchange Division of ECNU) attended the meeting with the guests.
Associate Dean Yang Fuyi introduced the basic situation of the Faculty of Education to the guests, especially the important measures in promoting internationalization of the Faculty. Prof. Robert also introduced in detail the geographical location, advantageous majors, discipline characteristics and international cooperation projects of the School of Education of University of Barcelona. Yang Fuyi stressed the “International Academic Exchange Week” project with educational institutes of world-class universities and the Global Education Deans’ Forum to be held in October this year, expressing expectations to build a platform for academic exchanges with University of Barcelona and promote deeper collaborations between the two sides.
