Brief Introduction
Chunxiao Zhang (Esther) gained her doctoral degree at the Education University of Hong Kong, specializing in music education. She gained MMus at the University of Melbourne, AMusA (piano) diploma from the Australian Music Examinations Board (AMEB), and B.Ed. at the East China Normal University. She is a current member of the International Society for Music Education (ISME) and used to be a member of the National Association for Music Education (NAfME) (2020-2021), Florida Music Education Association (FMEA) (2020-2021), and Victorian Music Teachers’ Association (VMTA) (2018-2020).
Research Interests and Experience
Her research interests cover music education, music psychology, and arts education, especially in self-regulated learning, music practice and parental involvement.
