“To Find The Fulcrum – Leveraging China’s Teaching and Research Innovation With Capital Influence,” the first national teaching and research innovation forum and ceremony for the 100th batch training program is held at ECNU

Aiming to seize the opportunity of innovation and innovation, and vigorously promote the social impact of the value of capital and teaching and research innovation ,the first national teaching and research innovation forum and ceremony for the 100th batch training program was held at East China Normal University on July 15 and 16, 2016.


The forum was under the guidance of Basic Education Curriculum Development Center of the Ministry of Education, organized by Department of Education Curriculum and Teaching Research, Faculty of Education of East China Normal University, Teaching and Research Training Center and Internet Education Industry Investment Fund, and co-sponsored by the Influence Investment Research Center of Shenzhen Research Institute, Peking University, China First Capital International and other companies. The theme was “to find the fulcrum – leveraging Chinese teaching and research innovation with capital influence.” Some educators and entrepreneurs attended the forum. Those participating included Professor Sharon P. Robinson, President of American Association Of Colleges for Teacher Education (AACTE), Dr. Hulen E., Vice President of National Board For Professional Teaching Standards (NBPTS), Ms. Emily HU, China Region President of the American Ivy League Education Association, and Mr. Liang Yudong, Partner of Internet Education Industry Investment Fund, and including other industry professionals. Professor Dai Liyi ,Vice President of East China Normal University, attended the forum as well and delivered a speech.

Internal Discussion

The forum lasted for one and a half days. On the afternoon of July 15th, an internal discussion was held. More than 30 leaders from all over the country’s teaching and research department were invited to attend. During the meeting, those attending were divided into three groups to have in-depth discussions on “how to improve the quality of teaching and research training”.

Keynote Presentations

The forum invited many experts to attend the keynote speech on the morning of the 16th.The experts gave presentations on the value and mission of Chinese teaching and research, comparison and evaluation of American teacher’s standard system and Chinese teaching and research system, innovation direction of Chinese teaching and research, and the boost of the diversification of China’s teaching and research system.

Topic Dialogues

The participating educators, business leaders and experts conducted in-depth dialogues on the afternoon of the 16th. In the first half of the dialogues, they launched a unique sharing and in-depth dialogue on the theme of “the system of teaching and researching leveraging China’s educational innovation”. In the second half, during the “social forces to boost China’s teaching and research innovation” dialogue session, they focused on how to participate in educational innovation in cross-border education innovation, and expressed a common wish: let us work together, to achieve China’s education innovation by leveraging teaching and research innovation.
