On October 25th, 2016, Prof.
Deborah Corrigan (Vice Dean of School of Education, Monash University), Dr.
Kathy Smith, Dr.
Hongzhi Zhang and Louise Goold visited Faculty of Education, ECNU to negotiate issues regarding cooperation. Yang Fuyi (Director of International Affairs Division), Li Weisheng (Director of Department of Educational Management), Ren Wanheng (National Training Center for Secondary School Principals, Ministry of Education) and Zhou Qun (International Affairs Division) attended the conference.
The delegation from Monash University came for the purpose of deepening the cooperation over various fields, including pre-service and in-service teacher training, academic exchange, STEM education, headmaster training and special education etc.
The two sides exchanged information about academic research and programs and reached an agreement on different aspects. They showed a great expectation oto carry out teacher and student exchange programs, a joint research program and cooperative seminars.
In November. 2015, the delegation from Monash University and Faculty of Education of ECNU had already held a conversation on the scientific research field and program collaboration .
