On November 9th, 2016, Prof. Anna M. Kindler and Dr. Fang Wang from the Education Division, University of British Columbia, visited the Faculty of Education of ECNU to further the already existing partnership. Prof. Wang Haiping, Prof. Chen Xiangdong, Prof. Yang Fuyi and Prof. Wan Heng attended the conference.
The two sides exchanged the basic information of each subject and had a detailed discussion over various fields, including schoolmaster training, science/STEM education, university manager training，postgraduate program of double degree for the education management major, etc. Regarding the university manager training program, they agreed to combine UBC’s mature curriculum system and ECNU’s academic influence to achieve the cooperation. They also reached agreement on the cooperation of science education/STEM education.
