Delegation from the Faculty of Education Attends the 2018 AERA Annual Conference and Holds the Third Academic Exchange Meeting

From April 12th to 17th, a delegation from the Faculty of Education attended the 2018 AERA Annual Conference in New York and held the Third Academic Exchange Seminar, aiming at promoting internationalization and the construction of top-class educational disciplines.

The meeting was held on April 14th. Nearly 150 scholars, officials and other experts from Columbia University, Stanford University, North Carolina University-Chapel Hill, University of Wisconsin-Madison, University of Michigan and other prestigious international institutions attended. Professor Wang Rongming, vice president of ECNU and Professor Yuan Zhenguodean of the Faculty of Education delivered speeches respectively.

The exchange meeting was held thanks to this platform on supported by 2018 annual American Education Research Association Conference. This year’s theme was “the Dreams, Possibilities, and Necessity of Public Education”. During the 7-day stay, the delegation gave more than ten speeches and exchanged ideas with each other.
