On June 10th, 2019, Dean of College of Education, University of Florida, Prof. Glenn Good and his colleague Prof. Fu Danling visited Faculty of Education, ECNU. Yuan Zhenguo (Dean of Faculty of Education), Gu Xiaoqing (Director of Department of Education Information Technology) and Qiu Yue (Director of the International Affairs Division) attended the meeting.
Dean Yuan Zhenguo welcomed Dean Glenn Good and Professor Fu Danling, and invited Dean Good to attend the second Global Education Deans’ Forum. During the meeting, Qiu Yue introduced to the guests the important measures taken by Faculty of Education in promoting internationalization. Dean Good also gave a detailed introduction to the geographical location, professional ranking and discipline characteristics of the College of Education of University of Florida. Dean Yuan Zhenguo introduced the international cooperation projects such as “International Academic Exchange Week” with the world’s high-level universities and educational institutes. Professor Gu Xiaoqing briefly introduced the early cooperation between the Department of Education Information Technology, ECNU and the College of Education, University of Florida.
At the meeting, the two sides signed a framework cooperation agreement on education disciplines, marking the formal establishment of cooperation between the two institutes, laying a foundation for further exchanges and collaborations.
