Delegation from Kyushu University, Japan Visits Faculty of Education

On October 30th, 2019, a delegation from Graduate School of Human-Environment Studies, Kyushu University, Japan visited the Faculty of Education of ECNU to negotiate issues regarding the academic exchange activities in 2020 and discuss further collaboration. Nonomura Toshiko (Professor of History of Education), Kimura Takuya (Professor of Sociology of Education) and Chen Sicong (Professor of Civic Education) met with the representatives from the Faculty of Education, including Huang Jin (Executive Deputy Secretary of Communist Party Committee of Faculty of Education), Yang Fuyi (Associate Dean of Faculty of Education), Wu Zunming (Professor of Department of Education Science) and Qiu Yue (Director of the International Affairs Division).

On behalf of the Faculty of Education, Yang Fuyi expressed warm welcome to the delegation and spoke highly of the academic achievements made through collaboration in recent years. Qiu Yue introduced the “International Academic Exchange Week” project and proposed to extend it based on original communication. In return, Nonomura Toshiko was also looking forward to cultivating more Japanese students interested in China’s Education. Then the two sides discussed in detail on the exchange visits schedules between delegations afterwards.
