To encourage students’ innovation and entrepreneurship to address Asian social and educational issues, prepare student teams to be future innovators and entrepreneurs with global perspectives, and lay the foundation for an Asia-wide innovation and entrepreneurship scheme for university students, the Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK), East China Normal University (ECNU), Nanyang Technological University, Singapore (NTU) and University Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) co-organized The 1st Asian Universities Student Entrepreneurship Ideation Challenge (AUSEIC) which began its preparations in July 2022, and was officially launched in October 2022. The final competition of the first AUSEIC was successfully concluded on ZOOM online on February 4, 2023. The two projects from ECNU, “Light Up ‘Stars’” and “Joint Hands” won the first runner-up and second runner-up in the competition respectively!

The 2nd AUSEIC is currently in preparation and the final competition will be hosted on campus of EdUHK from March 9 to March 10, 2024.
