On November 5th, Dr. Stephan Vincent-Lancrin, the Project Director of the Education and Skills Department of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), visited Faculty of Education to further follow up and implement the creative and critical thinking projects to be carried out with ECNU. Dean of Faculty of Education Yuan Zhenguo, Zhou Yingchun (Deputy Director of Academic Affairs Department of ECNU), Peng Zhengmei (Head of the Institute of International and Comparative Education), Bai Yun (Deputy head of Shanghai Municipal Institute for Lifelong Education), and Hu Lijuan (Teacher of Department of Education Management), Qiu Yue (Officer of International Affairs Division), and staff from the Institute of International and Comparative Education, attended the meeting.
During the talks, Bai Yun and Hu Lijuan first reported on their visit to the OECD in September this year. Vincent-Lancrin and the participants of the Faculty had an in-depth discussion on the details of the project agreement to be signed, the mode and content of the scientific research cooperation to be carried out, the sharing of scientific research data, and the publication of theses. The two sides planned to sign the cooperation agreement before the end of this year and start cooperation projects next year. At the meeting, Stephan also introduced other OECD projects about artificial intelligence and big data.
